The Capital Solutions Group Marks 5th Anniversary and $1.2 Billion in Transactions

The Capital Solutions Group (“Capital Solutions”) marks its 5th anniversary providing financial advisory services to middle market companies. Since formation, we have advised on over $1.2 billion in debt issuance, financial restructuring, and strategic advisory assignments. These transactions have been executed primarily for private equity sponsored companies.

In February 2014, Capital Solutions closed two transactions for financial sponsors:

• $112 million first-lien financing to support two financial sponsors for their joint winning bid in a §363 sale process; proceeds were used to repay certain secured debt and for future working capital needs;
• $45 million / €33 million unitranche financing to refinance existing debt, including debt held by the control sponsor for a biopharma manufacturer with operations in the US & Europe; the credit facility is available in both USD and Euros.

Capital Solutions is currently working on exclusive placement assignments for companies in the transportation, financial services and wood flooring industries.
