Capital Solutions Closes Growth Financing for Curriculum Associates

The Capital Solutions Group (“Capital Solutions”) announces the closing of a growth financing for Curriculum Associates, LLC (“Curriculum”), a Massachusetts-based publisher and online provider of supplemental learning materials targeted primarily to K-12 school districts in the U.S.   Curriculum will utilize the proceeds of the credit facility to support growth in both its print and online platforms.

“Curriculum has a 40+ year track record of innovation and profitability in the education industry,” commented Tim Shoyer, Managing Partner at Capital Solutions. “Securing access to additional capital will ensure that Curriculum’s management team has the financial flexibility to execute their significant growth initiatives.”

“We engaged Capital Solutions for their corporate finance expertise and substantial lender contacts so that our management team could stay focused on our business operations,” stated Rob Waldron, CEO of Curriculum Associates. “They advised us on structure and conducted a thorough process which helped us identify prospective lenders, select a strong partner, negotiated credit documentation and advised us all the way through closing of  the financing. We look forward to working with them in the future.”
